Sometimes the process that is gone through to make custom furniture isn’t well known by the buyer. We don’t do anything that is mass produced as our efforts are devoted to providing what each individual client wants and then tailoring our work to them specifically. The nature of that work always requires more time and attention in the making of the one of a kind piece and in no way can compete with the time and cost in mass producing that same piece. That attention starts with the selection of wood. Our wood is usually cut locally and air dried as the color is so much better. The wood is selected and then milled down to the boards that are used. Efforts are made to match boards for table tops. And so on. With the time and attention we put in to our pieces we are not competitive to any mass produced furniture prices. We are, however competitive with other quality craftsmen.
