Richard says, when I get a commission from a client, I have to duplicate what he wants and that’s really important to becoming a good artist, to be able to fit a desire to fact, to take a vision and make it reality. When I have to look at what a client likes and what he doesn’t like and find an aesthetic in that, and I’m able to make it happen, that’s true artistic ability.
